Welcome to Converse County, Wyoming! While you're here you can take some time to discover the area sites. In Douglas, you'll want to visit the historic downtown area where you can dine, shop and snap a photo with the jackalope statue in Jackalope Square. You can also stop by the visitors center to pick up a visitors guide or map. Glenrock has an amazing dinosaur museum, a historic hotel & dining room called the Hotel Higgins an expansive city park with a historic train bridge over the river. Glenrock

Visit Glenrock

Glenrock is the second largest community in Converse County with a population of around 2,500. Glenrock is a historic town nestled in the foothills of the Rocky Mountains. The Deer Creek Tributary system flows through and merges with the North Platte just north of town. Glenrock has a historic downtown district, an amazing dinosaur museum and one of the best parks in the area!

Douglas is the county seat in Converse County and also its largest community with a population of around 6,400 people. Douglas is home to the Wyoming State Fair & Rodeo where Wyomingites gather each summer to celebrate with live music, rodeo, parade and more! Douglas also features a historic downtown and several historic sites.
