Celebrate the Home of the Jackalope
Jackalope Days is a long-standing Douglas tradition that brings the community together for a weekend of fun, celebration, and hometown pride in honor of National Jackalope Day.
This multi-day event features food trucks, vendor fairs, Railroad Day, family activities, live music, Ride Row & Run, pancake breakfast, car show, dog races, street dance, community awards, and more.
Join Douglas for four days of community events, family activities, entertainment, and local celebration.
Event Highlights
Jackalope Days brings together several signature Douglas events, including Park It! Food Truck Fest & Vendor Fair, Railroad Day, National Jackalope Day, and the Community Finale.
From downtown activities and live music to family fun, food, vendors, and community awards, this annual celebration offers something for all ages.
Thursday, June 11 – Park It at the Museum
- Park It! Food Truck Fest & Vendor Fair at the Douglas Railroad Museum
- Library Summer Reading Kickoff from 4-6 pm with games, face painting, and treats
- Edgar Allan Poe Speakeasy, 21+, at the LB Bar at 6 pm
Friday, June 12 – Railroad Day
- Railroad Day at the Douglas Railroad Museum from 10 am-4 pm
- Free lunch, train tours, live music, Kids Market, and Arts in the Park
- Edgar Allan Poe Speakeasy, 21+, at 6 pm
Saturday, June 13 – National Jackalope Day
- Ride Row & Run starting at 7 am
- Pancake Breakfast at the Moose Lodge from 7:30-10 am
- Vendor Fair at Jackalope Square from 9 am-2 pm
- Live music and downtown events throughout the day
- Knight Kruisers Car Show
- Low Rider Dog Races & Calcutta at 4 pm
- Street Dance at LaBonte Hotel & Bar from 7-10 pm
Sunday, June 14 – Community Finale
- Memorial Hospital Block Party from 4-6 pm
- Douglas Community Awards
