Jackalope Railroad Days:
Douglas celebrates its railway heritage each June during Jackalope Railroad Days. It’s an event that earns the attention of the local 
community and train enthusiasts from far and wide. A community celebration held throughout town, attendees will also want to visit the train exhibits at the local Chamber of Commerce and Visitor’s Center. The Center itself is housed in a historic train depot with a steam engine and other railroad vehicles on display in the surrounding yard. The 2012 event, planned for June 7-9, is sure to be a great time. Check back for details!
