2017 Wyoming State Fair & Rodeo
August 12 - August 21
August 12-19, 2017, the Wyoming State Fair is a celebration of all things Wyoming. From the grandstand events to the show ring, year-in and year-out this event provides an outstanding source of education and entertainment.
2017 marks this event’s 105th celebration! Taking center stage in the grandstands this year will be a demolition derby, Wyoming’s ranch rodeo finals, concerts and a Professional Rodeo Cowboys Association (PRCA) rodeo.
Along the midway you’ll find even more action with clowns, a carnival and abundant entertainment. Amidst the exhibit halls and in the livestock show rings, Wyoming’s best will compete for prizes and the top spot in the state show. Wyoming businesses also join the action by providing commercial exhibits.
At the Wyoming Pioneer Museum, the Wyoming Pioneer Association hosts numerous activities for youngsters. Visit Wyoming Pioneer Cabin and inquire about the fun-filled activities and exhibits.
On the final Saturday the Douglas Lions Club hosts the annual Wyoming State Fair Parade. Entries from across Wyoming will travel down 4th Street and then Center Street as they make their way toward the Wyoming State Fairgrounds.
The annual parade begins at 10 a.m.
