Deer Creek Days

Glenrock residents know how to celebrate their community’s rich heritage. As the 2009 event takes place July 31-Aug. 2, residents will also be celebrating 100 years of existence.

Parades, pancake breakfasts, barbecues, games, an art show and more are packed into three action-packed days.
On Friday, July 31 there will be a horse sale, a kids parade, the art show reception and a truck pull. Don’t miss the street dance downtown Glenrock at 8 p.m.

Saturday, Aug. 1 includes a 5K walk/run, a 3-on-3 basketball tournament, a craft fair, the Deer Creek Days Parade, a duck race, a Parades in Wyomingtractor pull, a ranch rodeo — and, that’s just the beginning.
There’s no slowing down on Sunday as attendees gather for the classic car show, the golf tournament, mud volleyball, a team roping and an ATV rodeo at Valentine Speedway.

For more information on the Deer Creek Days celebration and a complete agenda call the Glenrock Chamber of Commerce at 307-436-5652.
